1st sledding of the season

Our first big snow storm and we just had to go sledding.  We had fun, but the kids all got thirsty after about 45 minutes. Paige and her friend Halli had a real good time.  We got snow most of the day and probably will get more tonight.  So we will probably go sledding as much as possible during the break.

Here are some of our Halloween pics. As always the kids got a ton of candy and had a great time. Kyle and Spencer went to parties, they are growing up fast. We also have some pictures of the kids that Aunt Weesa took for us.

UEA weekend fun

We had a fun UEA weekend last week. It was a well needed break for everyone. We worked on the yard and cleaned the kids' room on Thursday. Then on Friday we met Gary and Lori in Provo and went geocaching. Of course like always I forgot the camera so we don't have pictures of any of that. We also went out to dinner at the Pizza factory. The kids all loved it. Gail met us in Provo and took pictures of the kids. On Saturday we went on a picnic and just had fun climbing around the rocks. It was funny watching the kids try to catch lizards in the rocks.

Spencer's football season

Spencer had fun this year playing football. He played wide reciever and cornerback. At one of the games in Vernal he caused a fumble when he tackled the reciever and then he got confused because he didn't see that his team recovered and were now on offense. He thought they were still on defense. Anyway it was a short season and he says he definitely playing again next year.
The rest of the kids were involved in Soccer. We've had a very busy fall trying to get to 5 games sometimes in one night. Its fun to see them all involved.

Make a Smilebox scrapbook

I know, I know its been a while. Alot has happened since June. School has started at least it does this week for Paige, and soccer and football madness start on Tuesday. We are going to be busy. In other news Spence and I had a little accident on Thursday. I was going around a turn and I went a little to wide, hit some gravel and you guessed it crashed. Spencer flew over the top of me I slammed my head into the pavement, luckily I had the helmet on, and we both cut our knees pretty good. I have some good road rash as you can see in the pictures. Anyway we are okay and hopefully Spencer will be back playing football in a week or so. The first week of school went off without a hitch and feels like we never had a summer break, even though we did a ton of things this year.

June 29th 2008

Well we've had an interesting week. Genny and I survived the triathlon in Vernal yesterday. Genny got 3rd place in the 35-39 age division. She killed me on the bike and run. I need to practice more so I don't get beat so bad. The swim I did really good in, it only took me 17 minutes to go half a mile. But I made up for it in the transitions. I was a little slow. Genny caught me on the bike to run transition and blew past on the run. Chris did the olympic race and got 2nd in his age division. It finally got really hot here too. Although its all relative. The kids played in the sprinklers and we went swimming alot. Jason said an intersting thing at dinner today. We were talking about the lesson Genny and I gave on reverence and he said " How do you make babies?" I don't know what he's thinking but it was funny. Genny said you need a Mom and a Dad, and then he said "well how do you get the Dad stuff into the Mom. " Anyway it was pretty comical. I was laughing too hard to tell him any more. But he took it in stride when I said I would explain a little more later. Well enjoy the pics.

Jason loves baseball

Jason likes to play baseball. He was probably the youngest person on his team. He learned alot about how to play the game. Hopefully he will stick with it. In other news Me and Kyle went to youth conference at Snow College. I think he had a pretty good time, especially when he got me soaked from the water fight. He slept most of the day Friday when we got home.
